I haven't really been too obsessed with anything this month, I've kind of just been floating one day to the next with nothing really filling the time in between so I'm not sure how voluminous this post will be.
I'm not actually going fishing, I'm just going to Wales for 5 days and unfortunately for me there's usually no internet (or signal for that matter) at all, so I won't be able to respond to any comments during this time but I do have 3 posts scheduled so you probably won't even notice my absence, I mean I could've just went and came back and no one would've even noticed but my brain compartment of oversharing decided that this post was totally necessary and that's that.
See you on the 3rd!
Recently I’ve been finding it very difficult to sleep at night, mainly because of the lingering thought that every noise that happens is definitely not just one of my family members just living their lives to the fullest but a crazed axe murderer out for blood and valuable items. This has always been a paranoid thought of mine which has plagued my sleeping hours for a many years now but recently it has escalated, and rather dramatically too, to the point where I get so scared that I lay awake until around 04:00 when the sun rises (I’m so glad it’s summer) keeping my fairy lights on in the meantime, which I had previously been abstaining from in case I ran out the battery (I must have known), staring wide-eyed at every creek and tap that echoed throughout my house and hallucinating that all the silhouettes of my personal belongings are actually unprosecuted serial killers not satisfied with getting away with his first lot of victims so he came to slice and dice me to add to his murder resume. So to try and settle my to urge to write a will at 3 am I decided to make a playlist to distract my mind from wondering who would turn up to my funeral, and I thought why not share it in case there are some other paranoid insomniacs frantically searching the web for some kind of sleep relief. I decided to use songs that didn’t have vocal tracks as I thought that might distract me from actually trying to sleep and make me sub consciously just press skip. I will also be including a Spotify playlist (because I just learnt how to embed them) at the bottom of this page, or just click HERE if you’re too lazy to scroll that far.
As I said previously in my May Favourites post I had been obsessively listening to Suzy’s Yes No Maybe, but it was for good reason, to write an ‘analysis’ (used loosely) on the music video as I used it as research for my college work, which was based entirely on colour for context, and God knows I need content for this blog so here it is, as promised. Please note, everything I say here is pure crap, don’t take note on anything I say. I have no idea what I’m talking about and I’m lying through my teeth, I’m not trying to sound bigheaded or that I know everything because I really don’t I just know some fancy camera words because that’s what I’ve been doing (for better or for worse) for the past 3 years. It really is all lies. But now my work has been marked and I won’t get arrested by UAL for plagiarising my own research here it is. (This has been directly copied from a word document and having to reinsert the pictures was an actual living hell please even if you don’t even read any of this just look at the pictures, maybe click on them a bit, it’s all I ask.). Lee Hyori had her highly anticipated comeback with the song Black and the Music Video seemed to hold some deeper, hidden, cryptic messages, so I decided to expose and debunk this story so you don’t have to. I actually intended on birthing this series with Taeyeon’s Fine MV but it never saw the light. So round two commenced with Hyuna and the Hyunantors’ 365 So Fresh MV but it fell to a similar fate. Let hope this post gets to taste the fresh WordPress air. Continue reading “The Story Behind: Lee Hyori’s Black”
June has been a month of drug scandals, ICU’s, members leavings and the end of free education forever for me. So it’s been a rollercoaster to say the least! I think this blog is the only thing that’s going o keep me literate this summer. Continue reading “June Favourites”
Three weeks in and this still isn’t dead, so far so good my dudes.
It’s dawned on me that I’m very quickly going to run out of pictures of idols posed in front of computers. I honestly don’t know why I do this to myself. There’s only so far 50 google searches of t-ara holding computer, snsd laptop, hyomin computer, qri laptop and sulli trolling can get you. So if anyone has any pictures suitable for me to Photoshop into please send them my way for my backlog. It will be very much appreciated. Merry June ladies and gentlebeans, this post is slightly late but for good reason, well for me at least it really doesn’t affect you in the slightest but still, I have finally finished my college work. The hand in date was the 5th so I really didn’t have the time to post this any sooner as I was cramming in work I should’ve done months ago into 5 days. So hopefully I will also be able to post more, I’m not really sure what the kind of stuff I want to write yet as doing the news/review stuff was boring and horrifically generic, you know you’ve hit rock bottom when you’re just an imitation allkpop. I was literally just Quorn allkpop slightly less harmful but just as bland.

Bonsoir (I wrote this at 2am, bonsoir is still allowed I will NOT change it to bonjour even if I post this at like 1 in the afternoon) ladies and gentlebeans, it is now somehow May, isn’t 2017 hurtling by at an alarmingly fast rate? I don’t like it, I am still unfortunately half assing my college work, and my deadline has been extended and therefore so has the time before I return to posting somewhat regularly, for better or for worse. I also decided this month I was going to keep a dream journal, but then I soon realised just how much I don’t dream and when I do it takes me an hour after waking up to realise I decided that I’m actually doing a dream journal so it’s not going well so far, lets hope May brings me some spicy dreams. Here are the things I enjoyed this month. Continue reading “April Favourites”
