Three weeks in and this still isn’t dead, so far so good my dudes.
It’s dawned on me that I’m very quickly going to run out of pictures of idols posed in front of computers. I honestly don’t know why I do this to myself. There’s only so far 50 google searches of t-ara holding computer, snsd laptop, hyomin computer, qri laptop and sulli trolling can get you. So if anyone has any pictures suitable for me to Photoshop into please send them my way for my backlog. It will be very much appreciated. Merry June ladies and gentlebeans, this post is slightly late but for good reason, well for me at least it really doesn’t affect you in the slightest but still, I have finally finished my college work. The hand in date was the 5th so I really didn’t have the time to post this any sooner as I was cramming in work I should’ve done months ago into 5 days. So hopefully I will also be able to post more, I’m not really sure what the kind of stuff I want to write yet as doing the news/review stuff was boring and horrifically generic, you know you’ve hit rock bottom when you’re just an imitation allkpop. I was literally just Quorn allkpop slightly less harmful but just as bland.

Bonsoir (I wrote this at 2am, bonsoir is still allowed I will NOT change it to bonjour even if I post this at like 1 in the afternoon) ladies and gentlebeans, it is now somehow May, isn’t 2017 hurtling by at an alarmingly fast rate? I don’t like it, I am still unfortunately half assing my college work, and my deadline has been extended and therefore so has the time before I return to posting somewhat regularly, for better or for worse. I also decided this month I was going to keep a dream journal, but then I soon realised just how much I don’t dream and when I do it takes me an hour after waking up to realise I decided that I’m actually doing a dream journal so it’s not going well so far, lets hope May brings me some spicy dreams. Here are the things I enjoyed this month. Continue reading “April Favourites”
As Theresa May, the current Prime Minister of the UK for all you people lucky enough to not live in this crap shack, has announced a snap general election to everyone’s surprise, despite saying herself the next election would be in 2020 and not June 8th 2017, Hitler said he wouldn’t invade Czechoslovakia but here we are, so England needs a new leader. But in all honesty the current candidates just don’t seem fit enough to run the country. The leader of the Conservative party is a shape shifting lizard that no one even elected in the first place and the other is just so left-wing his own (Labour) party don’t even like him. But amongst all the anguish and torment, there is one candidate who may be able to save the UK from rack and ruin… Continue reading “Vote For Qrillary”
Hi, hello, bonjour, I have momentarily returned from doing my mind-numbing FMP work, honestly, please don’t ever choose to do an arts course unless you enjoy actually writing pointless nonsense about random people’s work that you honestly don’t care abo-… Uh, anyway… March has been a pretty not great month if 2017 was a chart it would looks like this ¯¯\, but that’s just life. Anyway onto the things I liked! Continue reading “March Favourites”
Hi, hello, I wont be able to post much for the next coming months (8 weeks to be exact I think that’s how long I have left I can’t remember I think I have short-term memory loss for real guys) as it’s my FMP, or Final Major Project for those of you who actually care about making money and getting a good career and don’t do a UAL art course, at college which is basically the big cheese my whole mark depends on how well I do this unit and seeing at my motivation levels I have right now are at an astounding grand total of 0.1, at a push, what very little spurts of it do I get I should be putting it into my work because honestly, I’m going to need it. Writing a 3 page analysis of one artists image, or an evaluation of just how awful your pictures is, is one of THE most mind-numbing tasks ever, especially when the majority of it is just lies, which most of my work is to be honest. I’m also not having the best of times right now and I don’t feel the greatest so my creative try hard funny wannabe juices are at a slight holt. I have a few posts in my drafts that I would like to finish, but I have no idea when they’ll be posted. After writing Hwayoung’s Guide I also realised I didn’t want to just post “news” articles and stuff all the time because it was just boring and something no one cared about which is why I stopped posting as much in the first place, but yeah. If you read this then thank you and sorry, but I will NOT let this blog die after 3 months I promise this is just a temporary postponement of writings.
Ever looked at an article about your favourite k-pop idol, scrolled to the translated comment section and thought,
“Wow, the lengths these people go for the sake of Korean entertainment is truly awe-inspiring, the real troops aren’t those serving their mandatory 2-year military enlistment, but these internet dwellers. How do I become one?”?
Well, look no further! Continue reading “How To Join The Hive-Mind – Netizen Edition”
February is over (RIP), against all the odds this blog is still going strong, many things happened this month, I had the yearly birth commemoration event, but more importantly pancake day, the most important day of the year was held (today in fact!). Not that anyone cares but here are the things I enjoyed the most this month! Continue reading “February Favourites”
Hi guys it’s Hwayoung here! KPOPRHETORIC was looking for a guest writer, because let’s be honest here this blog is crustier than the tape on my rental crutches, those sh*tty reviews and T-ara apologist ‘news’ stories? No one cares you boring f*ck! So I jumped at the opportunity to finally get my story out there, and finally give this blog something worth reading by giving away my most treasured hints, tips and tricks that have fuelled my career over the past couple of years, such as effectively skimping out of practice and squeezing in time for some much-needed luxuries (because fake limping really takes it out of you!) and how to produce top quality fake tears. I’m sorry for any mistakes I make, I’ve just had my nails done so typing isn’t the easiest thing to do right now but my ‘determination’ will pull me through.
